Summer @ St. Luke's School
What's an average day like?
An average day at Codebug is fun and challenging! We've put together a daily schedule so you can get a glimpse into the life of a Codebug student.
Do we need our own computer?
Yes. You will need a computer (MacBook, PC, Chromebook – any will do) with access to the internet. We’ll be using Zoom for our virtual class, so having a webcam, microphone, and a quiet place will help! We’ll also be sending (snail mail) you a binder with some supplies for our course.
Is coding experience necessary?
Who are the instructors?
We offer courses for all levels of coding experience! Our beginner courses require no prior coding experience! We also offer courses for returning students or more experienced coders. We are excited about piloting our online learning platform to host our brand-new 2021 curriculum! As always, we keep our class sizes small, and our multi-level instruction ensures that lessons are accessible yet challenging for everyone.
Those enrolled in the Summer 2020 courses will be taught by our founders Sarah and McArthur. Sarah's 4 years as a certified math teacher, combined with her time as a professional software developer, allow her to stand out in the world of coding teachers. McArthur has over 9 years of software development experience, so the Summer 2020 Codebuggers are in good hands!
Is there financial aid?
