FAQ

What's an average day like?

An average day at Codebug is fun and challenging! We've put together a daily schedule so you can get a glimpse into the life of a Codebug student.

Do we need our own computer?

No, Codebug + St. Luke's School will be providing MacBooks for all the students registered for the course! However, if you'd like to get your computer at home set up, we will be happy to help you!

Who are the teachers?

Students enrolled in the Summer 2019 courses will be taught by our founders Sarah and McArthur. Sarah's 4 years of teaching experience combined with her time as a professional software developer allows her to stand out in the world of coding teachers. With McArthur having 8+ years of software development experience, the Summer 2019 students are in good hands!

What do we do for lunch?

The students of our Full-Day course will have lunch provided by the St. Luke's food service.

Students enrolled in our Half-Day courses will not have lunch provided by Codebug or St. Luke's, however snacks will be provided.

Students with any food-related allergies should inform Codebug and St. Luke's at the time of enrollment.

Is coding experience necessary?

No previous coding experience is necessary! We accept students with little to no coding knowledge and teach them the basics of software engineering in just 2 weeks!

Is there financial aid?

There is some limited financial aid available. Please contact info@codebug.us for more information!
